Raceus Interuptus -or- The End of the Line

Well,  we've had so much fun chasing these guys around the country.

It has been an absolute BLAST!!

But we all
have lives outside of USMTS.  Wade is very active in kart racing in the upper midwest.  And Casey has business interests in South Dakota, in fact they just poured the concrete for a big new shop, and he has recently acquired a nice parcel of real estate for development.

A few days ago he and Wade sat down to assess the best path forward.  The outcome of that discussion led to Casey placing the race rig up for sale.  It sold virtually immediately.  At the very least, they will downsize the racing operation so that they can concentrate on other matters.

We are disappointed, of course, and at the same time just a tiny bit relieved.  It has been tough at times for a couple of old folks to keep up the pace.

We are so very thankful to the Skyberg family, to Wade Bahr, and to all the others we have met along the way.  We will miss the group immensely, but will stay in touch and visit when we can.

And to all of you who have checked in on the Blog from time to time:  Thanks for letting us share this time with you.  Hope you have found it to be a little entertaining.

With that, we sign out for the final time.

Good Luck,  and Best Wishes!!
